Question on COD Black Ops for free using steam?

I down loaded black ops multiplayer for free a couple of weeks ago. If i go to program files (x86) on my computer i can still find Black Ops MP but when i open it it brings me to steam. is there anyway i can open it without going to steam? OR, is there any way to get COD free without a torrent?
