Xbox 360 Storage Device: Modern Warefare 2?

when i start up CoD Black Ops it says press start then i do and then it says to choose either hard drive or flash drive i choose flash drive but for Modern Warefare 2 when i press start it takes me straight to menu i was just wondering if any one can teach me how to choose flash drive BTW i play multiplayer not campaign!
