Prom eye makeup - navy blue dress, hazel eyes?

My sister had a dress similar to that color for homecoming. She did a blue smoke-eye, consisting of : white eye shadow in the corners of her eyes fading into the blue color of her dress, then fading into a black. It was very pretty & looked like she got it done proffesionally. She also wore black eyeliner & mascara on top and bottom & she wore fake eyelashes to complete the glamorous look. If u r going for the dolled up red carpet look I would definitely recommend the eyelashes...its the perfect finishing touch :) once u have the eyes done u can pretty much do watever blush & lipstick looks best on u.
